Illustration Friday - Propagate

This is an old illustration I made in my 2nd year of Uni. It's inspired by a train journey I took and like all train journeys, seemed to last a long time. The seat infront was worn away and there were lots of families with small children trying to stop the boredom by colouring and laughing.

The Day the Saucers Came

Another inspired image taken from a poem in Fragile Things. If you can find a copy, read this poem, it's amazing; I've shorten it down just to be able to explain the image.

"That day, the saucers landed... You didn't notice any of this because you were sitting in your room, not doing anything, not even reading, not really, just looking at your telephone, wondering if I was going to call."

Pages from a Journal found in a Shoebox Left in a Greyhound Bus Somewhere Between Tulsa, Oklahoma and Louisville, Kentucky

This is another inspired illustration from a story found in the amazing Fragile Things by Neil Gaiman. With possibly the best story title I've ever come across, the artwork is inspired by a diary entry found in the journal...

"Thursday the 31st There were blueberries growing wild by the side of the road. A red thread was caught in the bushes. I'm scared that I'm looking for something that does not exist anymore."
